Simple nail art

The last half of 2012 SUCKED

I haven't posted anything since July mainly because things were going horribly wrong. Although my cousin got married and made me her MOH, my mother's husband tried to sabotage her AND my recently wed cousin's dad (my uncle) was killed in a horrific car accident. Lots of other fucked up things happened but those were the most stressful.

Mom's situation.....her fuck-tard of a husband couldn't take the pressure of opening a restaurant and being my mom's bitch so he snapped. He emptied the business & personal bank accounts, leaving 8 employees unpaid including my cousin who was depending on that check to finish paying for her wedding. He trashed the restaurant at night after closing, he tampered with the registers and phone line, and the list goes on. I really, really, REALLY wish that it was him that was smashed in between a car and a truck instead of my uncle. He wouldn't be missed, not even by his insane family.

Oh yeah, and I broke up with my boyfriend. I'm fine with it though. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. I'm not forcing it. It probably doesn't help that I'm a bit of a "man-eater". I'm trying really hard not to be though. I'm just not driven by emotion. Can't help it.

4th of July nail designs

Decided to be festive for this year's Independence Day....

The necessary colors are obvious.

Affordable bachelorette party favors ;)

So, my cousin got married and decided to make me the MOH (maid of honor). Yay me, right? HELL NO!!! After I planned the bridal shower and bachelorette party by myself, the bride decided to change her mind the weekend before all this was supposed to happen and we had to push it back a week (despite ALL the planning and schedule changes I made). And out of the 45 people she invited, only 18 people showed up to the bridal shower, which isn't bad, BUT only 7 of us went out for the bachelorette party (strip club), which the bridesmaids didn't show up to. With all the catastrophes that happened, the wedding was a success, despite the heavy rain going on outside.

So here are the bachelorette party gift bags I threw together...

This is what's inside :)

This is the bride's bag

The small gift bags were $0.89 I believe. The pink zebra print bag was about $3, both were purchased from Party City. The condoms and lube were free from the local health department. The candy, glow stick necklaces, and penis straws were bought online from http://www.bachelorettesuperstore.com/

Why does my dog keep getting blisters?

So my dog (well, boyfriend's dog) is a blue fawn pitbull and she has been getting blood-filled blisters since I've known her which is a little over a year. She even had a blister on the inside of her leg that looked like a tumor! Since my boyfriend couldn't afford to take her to the vet AND he's not computer savvy, I decided to google this problem. The first time I searched for info, I found that most dogs of this breed are allergic to their food. So we switched her from Beneful to NutroMax (beef). This seemed to help for a couple of months but the blisters came back. After about 7 months of her eating the NutroMax, we decided to switch her food AGAIN since it wasn't working the way I wanted it to and she didn't seem to like it anyway. So now we're trying Authority (lamb) and she loves it but there are still small blisters present.

I did a little more research and found out that a trip to the vet would probably be a waste of money since no one saw long lasting results. So until then, poor CoaCoa is gonna be a pimple face.

The blisters are a lot smaller than they used to be.

Paint Splattered Walls

So mom opened a restaurant with her husband and decided to get a mural painted on one of the walls. Well apparently she has a bigger problem with bare white walls than i do so we got a little creative.
Getting kiddie hand prints up so high was a little bit challenging but the twins actually behaved so it went better than expected.

Zebra and Pink Wall Decor

I kinda have an obsession with zebra print and pink and I wanted to decorate my room and bathroom to match my obsession. I'm on a tight budget being that I recently graduated from college and haven't found my "dream" job yet, so I can't just go out and buy all kind of shit so I decided to get creative. I don't really wanna paint my walls but since they are so big, bare, white and boring I decided to make some type of picture frame.
The frame itself is made completely out of paper using a zebra stripe template I found online. I will most likely put up more pictures but these are the only ones I could get my hands on for now.

Burgundy, Pink and White Nails

Since I'm on a budget, I've decided to start doing my own nails. I recently went to Walmart and picked up a couple of bottles of nail polish that were really cheap. Since I couldn't decide between burgundy or pink, I used both.
OK...so I need a better camera but on my left hand, my ring finger nail is painted all burgundy with a pink tip and the rest of the fingers have burgundy tips. The right hand is the complete opposite. The white nail art polish was a bit sticky and my hands aren't the steadiest but i tried :)
Colors used: NYC #116 Broadway Burgundy Frost
                    NYC #130 Classic Coral Creme
NYC #271 Extra Shiny Top Coat
KleanColor #04 Wedding Gown White (nail art decoration)

I bought the NYC polishes from WalMart for $0.97 and the KleanColor  from a local BSS for $1.99. The NYC was a little runny but looks really good after a second coat and the top coat dried super fast.

UPDATE!!! You really do get what you pay for. This brand of polish should only be used for special occasions because it only lasted for about 24 hours. FAIL!!

1st Entry Ever :)

So...I'm not very outspoken, however, I do have a lot to say.  I seem to be the go-to person when someone has a problem, wants to vent or just need tips on everyday things. On top of that, the most random things go trough my mind on a daily basis and so I decided to start blogging (yay me!). I will probably write about relationship issues or somewhere along the lines of that and my new obsessions which include makeup and hair. Well, since I'm a big ball of randomness I will include whatever comes to mind.
